TEMSAD and it's members have participated at the convention which was organized by The Goverment of India on 3 November 2009 at Swiss Hotel Istanbul.

The Honorable Minister of Textiles Mr. Dayanidhi Maran who had come to Istanbul with a delegation of the Indian major textile industrialists. The convention was held in the Swiss Hotel.

Mr. Maran, who emphasized the Indian's desire to be the center of international trade ongoing on Asia, explained in his speech that they would be ready to give all possible support to foreign investors in this particular sector from which they will benefit from their consistently growing domestic and foreign markets.

India's current domestic consumption of US$ 40 billion is expected to touch US$ 200 billion over next 27 years (growing at over 6% per year)

         ITM 2009 has been organized on 6-10 June 2009 at TUYAP FAİR AND CONGRESS CENTRE.
The main interest to the Fair was from foreign textile manufacturers.The Turkish Textile Machinery and Accessories Manufacturers seemed to be happy from the attendance of these foreign companies and undertook to follow their individual enquiries soon which they hope will turn eventually to specific orders for their machinery and accessories.
 
During the exhibition TEMSAD has also been very successful in helping their members as well as the foreign companies which asked for assistance

 

 

 

 

YEARS 2005-2006

     TEMSAD TUTSIS (Turkish  Employers Association) ITO (İstanbul Chamber Of Commerce ) and TUYAP Organised The first International Textiles and textile Machinery Congress where Academicians from Turkey and abroad gave lectures on innovations and process optimization of various Textile Machines .  

     With the support of Denizli Chamber of Industry Temsad organised it’s first symposium in Denizli 30 member companies have found the opportunity of introducing to various potential private and public Textile companies their latest machinery and equipment.  

     Memorandum of understandings were signed with the Arab Federation for Textile Industries (Covering 14 Arab Countries) The highly respected president of the federation and well known industrialist in Syria Mr. Sharabati. Temsad also signed an MOU with the Aleppo Chamber of Commerce.

YEAR 2007  

     Temsad had it’s biannual congress where the new board of directors and president Mr. Adil Nalbant have been elected. Temsad continued to organise symposium in Gaziantep and Bursa and in the meantime participating at various international fairs.  

YEAR 2008  

     Temsad has recently signed memorandum of understandings with the highly two respected associations of Egypt. Egypian Textile development association and Egypian junior businessmen association whom their respective presidents Messrs Khaled El-Mekati and Dr. Baha Raafat were present during the signing ceremony.
     During Temsad’s 10th anniversary dinner ceremony an MOU was signed with the highly respected association of Iran Textile industry whom their president Mr. Mohammad Moravej Hosseini and his board members were present.

     Today with it’s 140 member companies Temsad has succeeded signing MOU’s with 14 Associations with the aim of enhancing and developing the trade volume between their member companies.

Temsad’s new targets and duties are to continue carrying good and friendly relationships with all our neighbouring and non- neighbouring countries throughout the world. 

YEAR 2009  

     Temsad had it’s biannual congress where the President Mr. Adil Nalbant has been re-elected  and some changes have been made at the Board Of Directors.

 Textile Syposium Organized By The Arab Federation Of Textile Industries in Cairo
     Under the Patronage of the Minister of Trade and Industry of the Arab Republic of Egypt, H.E. Mr. Rachid Mohamed Rachid, the Arab Textile Industries Forum convened on the 15th and 16th of March 2009 at the Semiramis Intercontinental Hotel, Cairo.
The 1st Arab Textile Industries Forum took place with the participation of TEMSAD, ALKAN Makina, Tekst Makine, Ekoteks and Textile Technology Magazine from Turkiye. ‎
The Forum, organized by the Arab Federation for Textile Industries (AFTI) and Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group in cooperation with the Egyptian Chamber of Textile Industries (ECTI), attracted a wide level of participation, including Arab ministers, government officials and policy makers, private sector leaders and investors in the textile industry, and Arab and international experts, in addition to major European and Asian manufacturers of textiles machinery, equipment and raw materials. 
    
 The Forum provided an ideal venue and platform for all parties involved in the Arab textile and clothing industries to meet and discuss outstanding issues in light of the recent economic, financial and technological developments.
The Forum's main objective was to arrive at a clear vision and strategy to develop this important sector by focusing on the following:
* Present situation and future trends in the Arab and global textile industry.
* Success stories in the Arab textile industry in a number of Arab‎ countries
* Financing the Arab textile industry.
* The recent technological developments in the textile industry
Presenting at the forum as a speaker; Adil Nalbant the Chairman of TEMSAD provided information about the role of TEMSAD in the integration of Turkiye with the world and its activities, as well as he invited the whole Arabian world to ITM 2009 International Textile Machinery Exhibition, which will be organized with the cooperation of TEKNIK Ltd, TUYAP and TEMSAD from 6 to 10 June 2009 in Tuyap Beylikdüzü. In the scope of ITM 2009 purchasing committee and visitors' study, a meeting was realized with G?kmen ?ahin from Turkish Republic Egypt Commercial Secretariat. In addition to that, our representative in Egypt as ITM 2009 Project Team made positive negotiations with AFTI, Arab Federation for Textile Industries and Lebanon Trade Chamber about the visitor studies. ‎

The first session of the forum covered the Present Situation and Future Trends in the International Textile Industry. Mr.Mohamed Farid Khamis, Chairman of Oriental Weavers was present as a speaker at the forum and gave a presentation about "The Global Crisis and its Repercussions on Arab Industry in General and the Textile Industry in Particular".  The speakers of the first session were Mr. Jean-François Limantour, President of the Euro-Mediterranean Association of Textile and Apparel Executive Managers  "Present situation and future trends in the international textile industry", Mr. Roger Zacaropoulos, CEO, EDI-STAGE; Senior International Expert in textile and garment marketing, management and export management "The industrial textile clothing industry adaptation and mutation to face Asian Competitors", Mr.Adil Nalbant President, Association of Textile Machinery and Accessories Manufacturers, Turkey "TEMSAD's role in the ?ntegration of Turkey with the world", Mr. Ferid Tounsi, Executive President, Agadir Technical Unit "Role of the Agadir Agreement in enhancing competitiveness in textile industry".‎
    
The second session was focused on the Present Situation and Future Trends in the Arab Textile Industry covering information about :‎
              * Exports, imports and production
              * Obstacles and recommendations
              * Inter-Arab trade
              * Joint Arab investments

 
           TEMSAD'S 10 th ANNIVERSARY
    On 15 may 2008 Temsad has celebrated its 10th Anniversary Ceremony and invited the Presidents and General Secretaries of the respected 14 similar foreign associations with whom have signed Memorandum Of Understandings.During the ceremony the opening speech was given by H:E Kürşat Tüzmen Minister of Foreign Trade.He emphasized that he was very proud and happy to see Temsad's vision and success in trying to integrate with its counterparts throughout the world.
     He said that to be successful many other associations in Turkey should follow TEMSAD's steps.

 MATEX 2007  SYRIA TEXTILE MACHINERY EXHIBITION
 From 14-18 November 2007 the MATEX Show was held ın Aleppo at the ALYAMAN Fair Exhibition Centre. 48 TEMSAD member companies participated. Syria being one of TEMSAD’s target markets the attendance of visitors was high. The participating companies were pleased of the outcome.     
    TEMSAD Board members,Aleppo Chamber of Commerce Board members and the Turkish Consul General of Aleppo organised an important meeting at the Aleppo Chamber on 15 November where they found the opportunity to discuss the future plans of how to promote the volume of trade between  Turkish and Syrian companies and also look into the possibilities of investment in both neighbouring countries. 
     It has been agreed that with the help of the Turkish Consul General and the Aleppo  Chamber officials plan to organise a symposium in Aleppo in the first quarter of 2008.


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 TEMSAD SYMPOSIUM IN GAZIANTEP
 According to our forthcoming activity plans after DENIZLI and BURSA with the help of GAZIANTEP CHAMBER OF INDUSTRY a symposium was organised at the Gaziantep Organised Industrial Directorate on 12 November 2007.Twenty-three TEMSAD member companies participated in the event giving detailed presentations on their capabilities to the Textile industrialists of the Gaziantep province and the surrounding towns. The attendance was high (52 people turned out) all the companies who took place were pleased with the outcome of the Symposium.
    Following the networking session a panel convened to discuss the current state of the Turkish Textile Machinery Manufacturing Industry and what can be done to increase production capabilities.
     Mr. Adil Nalbant President of TEMSAD gave information about TEMSAD’s present and future plans and the importance of the Memorandum Of Understandings which have been signed with various countries associaitons which will help to enhance the trade volume and relations with TEMSAD. Mr Nalbant stated that their next symposium will be held in CERKEZKOY and CORLU.As a guest of honour MR Tevfik Kısacık President of Mediterranean Turkish German Businessmen Association  and  ADANA Chamber of Textile Engineers gave detailed information  about the necessity  of Research and Development (R&D)

 ITMA MUNICH 13-20 SEPTEMBER 2007
 TEMSAD has given the outmost support to Messe Munich Fair Organisers and to CEMATEX during their meetings in Istanbul and invited all their members to attend their sessions which they held in various parts of Istanbul. Up to now we have a total of  95 exhibitors, 62 of which are TEMSAD members that will be participating in ITMA.The total area covered by the Turkish exhibitors is almost 10.000 sq mt.  TEMSAD has decided to be the contact, support and responsible point for all the Turkish exhibitors during ITMA in Munich.

 TEMSAD SYMPOSIUM IN BURSA TURKEY 25 April 2007
 A GREAT SUCCESS
A symposium was arranged in conjunction with the directorates of six organised industrial areas of Bursa and also with the support of the prime large textile groups chairmen of Bursa, professors of the Textile Faculty of Uludag University and the Governor of Bursa. Fortytwo member companies participated and gave presentations to the selected businessmen of Bursa and Inegol provinces who were specially invited audiences. Following a networking session was held and gave the participating companies the opportunity of making valuable contacts. Following the networking session a panel convened to discuss the current state of the Turkish Textile Machinery Manufacturing Industry and what can be done to increase production capabilities. One of our participating member companies introduced a yarn twisting machine during the symposium which attracted a good deal of of interest from the visitors and after the symposium we have been told that he obtained an order.All participating companies were extremely pleased with the high level of attendance (95 people turned out )  and stated that such successful symposiums should also be arranged in other textile provinces in Turkey. TEMSAD is now planning similar symposiums in the provinces of GAZIANTEP,ADANA,KAHRAMANMARAS, CERKEZKOY and CORLU.

 TEMSAD SYMPOSIUM IN DENIZLI TURKEY 21 December 2006
 A GREAT SUCCESS
A symposium was arranged with the help and assistance of the Denizli Chamber of Industry at the premises of the Denizli Organised Industrial Area.Forty of TEMSAD member companies participated in the event giving presentations on their capabilities to the textile industrialists of the Denizli province. The attendance was high (65 people turned out) and all the companies who took place were pleased with the outcome of the symposium.

 TEMSAD AT CITME EXHIBITION 17-21 October 2006 IN BEIJING
 Temsad signed a memorandum of Understanding with CITME (Chinese Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association) on June 2006. CITME has allocated a booth to TEMSAD and also invited Mr. Richard Salvatore MBE, General Coordinator of TEMSAD as a guest of honour to China to attend their Summit and the opportunity of introducing the TEMSAD members machinery and equipment to the Chinese market.

 DTG 2007 Dhakka – Bangladesh Textile Machinery Exibition
 Twentyfive member companies exhibited at DTG 07 Exhibition held in Dhaka,Bangladesh from 2 - 5 February 2007. TEMSAD organised again a Turkish Pavilion at this exhibition which covered a total area of 950 sq mt. The attendance was high and almost all of our participating members were again extremely pleased with the outcome and indicated that all have obtained orders for their machinery and equipment from Bangladesh and Pakistan customers.  Hopefully the level of our attendance in January 2008 will be higher than that of 2007.

 MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH KOTMA(Korea Textile Machinery Manufacturers Associaiton)
 On 30 June 2006,Mr. Mustafa Sener President of TEMSAD signed and MOU with Mr. Chang Yong Hyun,President of KOTMA to form a platform pf cooperation between the two Associations.

 MR TAJAMMAL HUSSAIN OF APTMA VISITED TURKEY
 Mr. Tajammal Hussain, President of the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association visited Turkey on 1 July 2006.Mr. Tajammal met up with the Chairman of TEMSAD Mr. Mustafa Sener and Richard salvatore.Foreign Relation Coordinator and discussed the MOU that was proposed by TEMSAD to enhance relations between the two Associations.Mr. Hussein undertook to raise the issue with their board upon his return.

 COOPERATION AGREEMENT SIGNED WITH CTMA ON 1 JULY 2006
 A cooperation agreement was signed between TEMSAD And CTMA(Textile Machinery Manufacturers of China)on 1 July 2006.It is envisaged that the agreement will pave the way for cooperation between Turkish and Chinese industrialists.

 INTERTEX 2006,INDONESIA
 From 8-11 June 2006 INTERTEX 2006 was held in BANDUNG,Indonesia.With a recent agreement,TEMSAD has been appointed as the official representative of INTERTEX in Turkey. The show was a success,enabling the participants to meet up with a number of buyers in Indonesia.It is a biannual show and in 2008a larger group participation is expected from Turkey.

 PURCHASING GROUP VISITED TURKEY ON 30 MAY 2006
 Within the scope of the IITM 2006 Show, a group of Machinery buyers met Turkish Textile Machinery and Accessory Manufacturers at the Radisson Hotel İstanbul.It was a joint organisation of OAIB and the Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade.

 GALA DİNNER AT POSPHORUS TRIP
 Sponsored by TUTSİS,a congress gala dinner was organised on board of a ship during a pleasant Bosphoros trip.

 TEXTILE MACHINERY CONGRESS FROM 1-2 JUNE 2006
 The 1st Textile and Textile Machinery Fair and Congress was held in three halls,attracting an audience of over 150 business people, academicians and technical people.

 TEMSAD MEMBERS PARTICIPATED IN THE DHAKKA SHOW BANGLADESH
 On 8-11 february 2006 this show generated a very high level of interest in the Turkish Textile machinery being exhibited in Dhakka,serving as an excellent vehicle of providing information on the Turkish machinery and enabling the exhibitors to meet potential customers and agents.
The participating companies are keen to come back to the Dhakka Show next year,taking up a much larger stand area. Mr Awal,President of the Bangladesh Textile Association,visited our stand and TEMSAD representatives had the opportunity to discuss merits of how to further trade relations in the textile field between the two countries.

 SEMINAR FOR TEMSAD MEMBERS
 On 16 February 2006.KOSGEB gave a seminar to the TEMSAD members on R&D and a private consultancy fırm,Turkmen Danısmanlık had the opportunity to introduce their services.

 COOPERATION AGREEMENT SIGNED WITH ALEPPO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY
 During the MATEX show.TEMSAD representatives dfiscussed with the Aleppo Chamber of Commerce and Industry the merits of a Memorandum of Understanding to further business relations between their members. On 1 February 2006 another high level meeting was held at the Aleppo Chamber Of Commerce with the participation of Mr. Ali Kemal Gur,Turkish Consul General in Aleppo and subsequantly an agreement was concluded with the Aleppo Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

 MATEX 2005 SYRIA EXHIBITION
 From 9-13 November 2005.the MATEX Show was held in Aleppo Syria with a high level of participation by TEMSAD members. Syria is one of TEMSAD's target markets and the MATERX Show is an important one for Turkish Textile Machinery Manufacturers.The show is promoted by MERCURE Fuarcilik in Turkey.

On 13 April 2006 Temsad and the Bangladesh Textile Mill Association (BTMA) presidents signed a memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the headquarters of TOBB in ANKARA in the presence of the Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh and a group of Turkish and Bangladesh businessmen. The main aim of this MOU is to enhance cooperaities for both parties member companies.
