TEMSAD is the only Association in Turkey with 130 member companies all of whom are manufacturers of textile machinery, spare parts, accessories and textile chemicals. Our members export to more than 100 countries throughout the world.

 

The products of our members are of higher quality than those of their competitors and it is noteworthy that their contribution to the overall Turkish Industrial output is quite significant. The very high quality products which are available from our members are also well respected in international markets. Exports have reached a record level of 90% of the production which indicates the level of contribution our members make to the Turkish Economy. Our members produce textile machines and spare parts as well as textile dyes and other textile chemicals used in the yarn, weaving, knitting, dyeing, bleaching, washing, denim and ready wear garment sectors.

 

The textile machinery production sector which employs very advanced technological methods currently enjoys an important strategic position in the local and international arena. TEMSAD is the only Association of its kind in Turkey and have to date signed  cooperation agreements with similar associations in 14 countries with the aim of increasing bilateral trade relationships. TEMSAD also organises a variety of foreign fairs, workshops and enjoys a good working relationship with the government. It also has a close link with KOSGEB (Directorate of Small and Medium Size Enterprises), the O.A.I.B. (Central Anatolia Exporters Union) and the Industrial Machinery Sector Platform. All these links with the afore mentioned organisations indicate the level of proactive role TEMSAD undertakes in Turkey and beyond.
